Codere becomes official sports betting partner of Real Madrid
The mainly latin-audience-focused sports betting company – Codere, has inked an affiliation with the legendary football team – Real Madrid, becoming the latter’s iGaming partner.
The agreement between the football team and the latin-focused gambling company – Codere, will see the latter become Real Madrid’s official sports betting partner until summer 2026.
More precisely, the sports betting provider will be the football team’s formal betting partner in the Latin American market for the team’s both male and female teams, targeting mainly the provider’s key markets such as Mexico, Colombia, Panama, and Argentina.
The two had an existing partnership with started back in 2016.
Additionally, Codere has recently reported an impressive 33% revenue boost in the latest 6 month turnover of this year.
Codere’s Chief Executive Officer – Vicente Di Loreto, welcomed the partnership and commented:
“We’re excited to renew our relationship with Real Madrid – a team who shares all of our core values and devotion to excel in what they do.
We’re looking forward to seeing benefits from the upgraded Real Madrid team.”
It is important to note that Spanish sports teams such as Real Madrid are prohibited from having partners in the gambling scene, due to a set of marketing restrictions, aside from when they’re targeting outside markets, not Spain.
