SPiCE Philippines 2022 organizer Eventus interviews speaker Danny Too.

Having only two weeks left, the SPiCE Philippines 2022 event is just around the corner. It is going to be held from the 26th to the 28th of October at the prestigious Shangri-La Mactan in Cebu.

The event will bring together the entire South-East Asian iGaming industry with a lot of highly experienced professionals, making for a great place to meet new people and network. Additionally, it will also feature a number of speakers who have a lot of knowledge to share about the intricacies of the field.

One of those highly experienced people is Mr Danny Too, the director of business development and sales in the Asian region at GO Racing. He has over two decades of experience shared between the hospitality, gaming and travel industries, in addition to a plethora of expertise in the online and retail gambling fields.

The organizer of the conference, Eventus International, interviewed Danny to get his thoughts and insights on a few topics.

Eventus: Mr Too, how did you first get involved with the Gaming sector?

Mr Danny Too: I first got involved in the Gaming sector back in Year 2000, that was 22 years ago. I remembered waiting for 5 hours in order to get a shot to be interviewed for the post of Operations Executive in a local slots’ parlor. And needless to say, the rest is history.

Eventus: Mr Too, being a speaker on the panel at SPiCE Philippines 2022 what are you most looking forward to at the event?

Mr Danny Too: The Covid-19 pandemic has totally changed the gaming landscape. At the same time, it has also proven that face-to-face communications & interactions are so crucial in the gaming industry. Having said that, it is the networking and keeping myself abreast on the latest development in the gaming world that excites me the most in this upcoming SPiCE Philippines 2022 event.

Eventus: What advice can you give to operators who are looking to enter the Southeast Asian market?

Mr Danny Too: Make sure you have these 5 elements covered: 1) Good products & platform; 2) Spectacular customer service; 3) Robust payment solutions; 4) Strong technical team; 5) Fantastic business relationships + Out of the world marketing implementations.

Eventus: In your opinion what are some of the opportunities in the Philippine Market?

Mr Danny Too: Philippines by itself is a country with more than 100 million population. The sheer number of people in this country is an opportunity by itself. In addition, Philippines can be considered as the sole country in Asia with a proper & regulated iGaming legal framework and the biggest advantage has over its peers is that the locals can participate in the gaming activities offered in this country.

Eventus: Please provide a brief statement of what you believe the audience at SPiCE Philippines 2022 can take away from attending this event:

Mr Danny Too: Be prepared to be blown away by soaking up the knowledge and the know- how offered by the participants. For newcomers into this market, this will be the perfect ground for you to learn how to start off doing business in this region. For the old timers, you will definitely get to benefit from the networking and forum sessions offered by this very event. So, DO NOT miss out this upcoming event that will be held in the beautiful Mactan Island in Cebu, Philippines.
