Genius Sports extends collaboration with Football DataCo

Genius Sports has recently announced that it has extended its data collaboration with Football DataCo.

Through this latest extended collaboration with Football DataCo, Genius Sports will have the rights to an expanded data set for the United Kingdom’s football leagues and their games. This will include low-latency real-time sports and wagering data for three of the country’s top championships, the EPL, EFL, and the SPFL. This contract extension will be valid throughout the end of 2025’s sports season.

Football DataCo’s GM, Adrian Ford, remarked:

“Genius Sports’ groundbreaking solutions have been able to offer our stakeholders an excellent set of football data, which we are thrilled to be expanding through our latest contract extension. Through the use of ever-evolving technological solutions, we will be able to further enhance our data and exceed the expectations of our clients.”

Genius Sports’ CEO, Mark Locke, commented:

“Thanks to our top-notch artificial intelligence solutions, we have been able to create leading sports data offerings for some of the United Kingdom’s most popular football leagues. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to expand our collaboration with our data partner, and we are looking forward to further enhancing our offerings in the future.”

This announcement follows closely after Genius Sports extended its working relationship with the DFB, the football governing organization in Germany, through which it will be supplying the latter with enhanced integrity solutions.
