Announced earlier this year, Penn National Gaming’s newest Hollywood Casino York property is finally going to open this Thursday, on August 12 at York Galleria Mall.

After almost 3 years of manufacturing works, Hollywood Casino York publicizes opening in less than a month’s time at the York Galleria Mall.
The official opening date for the mini-casino is set on August the 12nd, when the residents of York County will finally be able to access the casino’s rich selection of slots and poker titles.
Hollywood Casino York’s VP – Ruben Warren, stated during a press interview this Monday:
“Today starts the final 1-month countdown of the major event.
Our team is overjoyed to finally publicize the announcement about opening the doors to this gorgeous establishment and to offer all our customers superior gambling experience.”
This project cost around 120mil dollars and was, without opposition, granted a gaming certification by the state Gaming Control Board two years prior to this.
Furthermore, the Hollywood Casino York’s main partner – Penn National, has announced that it will be hosting 2 separate test events before the grand opening event in August.
