Kambi publishes Q4 2022 financial analysis

Kambi’s latest financial report covers the fourth quarter of last year.

The company experienced quite a healthy amount of growth in the period, growing its revenue by over 65% from just under 35 million Euros in 2021’s Q4 to over 57.5 million Euros in 2022. Its total revenue figure for the full financial year was up as well, though by a smaller margin, going from 162.4 million Euros to 166 million Euros.

Kambi’s earnings before taxes and interest experienced an over 2.5 times increase, going from 7.1 million Euros to 18.7 million Euros in 2022’s fourth quarter. However, the firm’s EBIT figure for the entire year was down quite a sizable amount, having gone from 2021’s 57 million Euros earned to under 35 million Euros.

All of the mentioned figures were boosted with an over 12.5 million Euro termination fee from Penn Entertainment, without which Kambi would have made 45 million Euros and earned 6 million Euros before taxes and interest in the fourth quarter. This would translate to a yearly growth rate of around 30%, still signifying a period of strong performance for the group.

Apart from the key statistics, the company’s report also detailed a number of other noteworthy achievements in the period, such as its strong showing during the world cup and its major collaboration with one of Brazil’s largest operators, Rei do Pitaco, at the end of December.
