Michael Issenberg is chosen by The Star Entertainment Group to become the new independent non-executive director.

This offer was made to Issenberg back in February and after obtaining all the important approvals he finally took on his role yesterday (July 12).

He has been working in the business for twenty-five years. Back in 2008 he joined Accor Asia Pacific, where he worked as a managing director. and now he is serving as the chief operating officer and a chairperson. His responsibility is to oversee different activities of the brand such as management and development.

“Michel has a great reputation and is experienced in the hospitality industry. Him joining The Star is a great opportunity for our brand as we keep improving.”

This appointment is followed by the recent events happening in the group such as many investigations, the resignation of many C-level executives and the latest news of The Star nor being able to hold a license for casinos.
