Pickering Casino Resort, owned by the Great Canadian Gaming Corporation, is soon to officially reopen in the Ontario province, Canada.

The company announced its latest casino establishment – Pickering Casino Resort’s reopening in Ontario, following the trend of a range of other Canadian casinos, due to the improved situation with COVID.

After the regulations are lifted, Pickering Casino Resort is said to start operating with an approximate amount of 2400 slot machines, hundreds of live casino terminals, as well as gaming tables.

Just as the other casinos based in Ontario, after the reopening Pickering Casino Resort will only operate under firm regulations, that include a capacity of maximum 50%, required masks and social distancing measures.

Great Canadian’s CEO – Terrance Doyle, commented on the news:

“With the opening of this casino property, we are completing yet another measure towards our recovery from the lockdown damages, as a company. Which will see an opportunity for around 600 new jobs in the area.

Pickering Casino Resort marks our 25th casino establishment based in Canada, which we are extremely excited about, and would like to take a moment to thank our partners, investors and supporters, for making it to this exciting day.”

The group revealed plans of opening 12 more casino establishments in Canada.
