The Star adds two new members to the board

The Star Entertainment makes rearrangements in the board of directors by hiring David Foster and Anne Ward as two new members.

The group decided to choose D․ Foster and A․ Ward as non-executive directors. After the regulatory approvals those two are going to become the official members of the board.

New NEDs are going to bring a lot of experience and expertise with them as they have been in the business for a long time. Ward worked in different fields such as finance, technology, health, entertainment and more.

“I cannot wait to become part of the board and support them reshaping The Star and creating value for shareholders.”

stated Ward.

On the other hand, Foster is an experienced professional as he has been in the financial industry for over twenty-five years. He has worked as chief executive officer at Suncorp Bank for five years. At the moment he has directorship at different companies that are listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

“I am thrilled to join the board and cannot wait to play my part in the process of organizational change, as a result of which many stakeholders will benefit.”

added Foster.
